I have tried to make this process as easy as possible!

After receiving your order, I will send you a collection kit in the mail. Inside is a prepaid bubble mailer, a milk collection tube and a breast milk storage bag. In addition to the instructions in the package, this will also be sent to you via email after placing your order. Please allow 3-4 business days for you to receive your collection kit.

Please make sure your breast milk is thawed prior to doing this

1. Measure out 10ml of your milk in the tube provided. 10ml is the top line of the tube.
2. Secure the lid tightly and seal it in the breast milk storage bag.
3. Please write your order number or last name on the bag.
4. Place everything in the bubble mailer and drop it off at any USPS box.

Please do not send me the only milk you have left. Errors can happen with the mail and I would feel terrible if it got lost on it's way to me. If you only have 10ml (the required amount) or less, please send an email to hello@madeofmilkies.com and we will work on finding a solution!

Unfortunately, due to the nature of the item we cannot accept returns. If your jewelry arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and we will make it right!

We can only accept cancellations within 24 hours of your order being placed. Cancellations requested outside of this time frame cannot be guaranteed a refund.

If you need to make a change to your order, it must be done withing 24 hours of your order being placed. This includes: size, color and shipping address.

Any changes outside of this time frame cannot be accepted.

The average turnaround time is below. This is subject to change. Please check the header on our homepage to see current production time.

If you need your order faster, you may choose rush shipping at check out. Please note that the shipping estimate provided at check out is the time frame you can expect to receive your milk collection kit. 

All products are .925 sterling silver. This means there is 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals (usually copper). All jewelry is rhodium plated to add durability and more shine.

Without appropriate care, yes it can tarnish. Here are some Do's and Dont's for ensuring your jewelry stays shiny.

Do:

• Take it off before cleaning, exercise or anything rough on your hands.
• Wear it regularly.
• Store it in an airtight bag.

Don't:

• Leave it in your bathroom. Humidity can cause it to tarnish.
• Expose jewelry to bleach, hand sanizer (especially alcohol free), and other harsh chemicals.

If you're local to Kitsap county, you can use the code "kitsap" at checkout to remove the shipping cost. I am available to meet at the Silverdale Target or Poulsbo Safeway for a milk exchange. I will send an email when an order is used with this code to organize a meet up! I kindly request a 24 hour notice for meeting.

M-F 8:30a-11:30a and 2:30p-6:30p.

Only 10 ml! That is about 1/3 of an ounce.

Any milk sent exceeding 10ml will be discarded. I am not able to save frozen milk or mail back any excess. 

Yes! The milk you send me does not need to be of the quality that you would feed your baby. It does not matter how old it is, or if it has been thawed and refrozen.

I only need a very small amount. Please send roughly 1/4 inch of the umbilical cord in the milk collection kit. It will be ground and carefully placed in the milk stone.

If your milk/umbillical cord/ashes have not been received within 6 months of placing your order, the empty setting will be mailed to you. If your setting has been sent back, and you would still like your jewelry made, you may ship it back at your expense. Please send an email to hello@madeofmilkies.com and an address will be given for you to send it to. 

Unfortunately refunds will not be accepted.
