What is Breastmilk Jewelry Made of?

The process starts with heating your breastmilk to kill bacteria. The breastmilk is then mixed with a blend of preservatives to ensure your finished ring never turns.

Once dried, it is ground into a fine powder and mixed with a high quality UV resin. The finished result is a custom keepsake that can be worn like traditional jewelry, while still holding something personal from your feeding journey.

What Can I Expect After I Place My Order?

Once your order is placed, a milk collection kit will be shipped within 2-3 business days. Once your milk is received, a confirmation email will be sent.

If you are not subscribed to marketing emails, you may not receive the notification. Your turnaround time starts when we receive your milk.

Once we have your milk, it is preserved and used to create your keepsake. Your finished jewelry is then packaged and shipped back to you.

How the Process Works

How Much Milk Is Needed for Breastmilk Jewelry?

Your milk collection kit comes with a 10ml tube which is approximately 1/3 of an ounce. This amount of breastmilk can create several pieces of jewelry. If you're not able to send that much, please contact us and we can see how we can help with what you have.

Can Old or Frozen Breastmilk Be Used?

Absolutely! There is no age limit on the milk we can use. Since it's not for feeding, typical rules do not apply here. Frozen milk will need to be thawed before sending, but there is no need to keep the milk cold during the shipping process.

How To Choose Your Keepsake

The best piece depends on your style, how often you want to wear it, and what type of jewelry you usually reach for.

Breastmilk Rings

Breastmilk rings are a popular choice if you want a piece you can see throughout the day. Rings are able to be worn daily, but they also need a little more care because hands are exposed to water, soap, lotion, cleaning products, and daily wear.

Breastmilk Necklaces

Breastmilk necklaces are a great option if you want something easy to wear but slightly less exposed than a ring. Necklaces are also a good choice if you prefer a simple everyday piece.

Breastmilk Lockets

Breastmilk lockets hold even more meaning because they can include a photo along with the breastmilk element. They are a good choice if you want a keepsake that doesn't show off the breastmilk aspect, but still keeps your journey close.

Breastmilk Earrings

Breastmilk earrings are a more subtle option for breastmilk jewelry. They are a good fit if you want something meaningful but simple.
